Meet Our People

Our staff are dedicated to providing high quality care for our residents. When we recruit, we look for people who share our mission of ‘Enhancing lives through inspired care’.
We know that our success depends on attracting and retaining talented staff who want to contribute toward bettering people’s lives and the aged care industry.
Meet a few of our staff and find out why they choose to work for Domain Principal Group.

I believe that our elderly residents deserve the highest quality aged care and I feel privileged to have the chance to be a part of providing this care.

Sneh
Having experienced a career shift and loving the change, Sneh highly recommends nursing.
For anyone considering a career in nursing I would say – come and join us! With our increasing ageing population we need, and would like to encourage, more people to join the health care team so that we are able to provide the best care that aged care facilities need.

Dawn
The rewards of the job far outweigh the challenges. Hearing the residents say how wonderful Domain Auckland Place is and how lovely the staff are is reward in itself. I really feel I can make a difference here – even if it’s simply sitting down and chatting to a resident!

Tracey
When I started I was overwhelmed by the size of the home and facilities that were on offer to residents. I thought to myself, this is where I want to come when the time comes.

Wendy
My mission is to make sure that just because residents are in high care they are not going to miss out on enjoying themselves. My father suffered from dementia and for me, when I look into the faces of my residents I see a little bit of Dad and I get pleasure in this … hence I love my job because I loved my dad.

What a great job I have – I get paid to organise fun!
I like to organise different activities for residents to enjoy, like belly dancing, a mock wedding, vintage car day, harp playing, cultural activities and cruise week, just to name a few!
